We design for the in-between.
The mid-week stops, the months between leases, the trips you take to be near people you love.
A founder note
I grew up in a small town in Canada, but the world arrived early, through the friends I made. Classmates whose families spanned continents, roommates who spoke four languages at dinner, mentors who kept apartments in cities I'd only seen on maps. Their lives pulled me outward. Over the years I ended up living across Taiwan, China, Singapore, and France, and travelling through 50+ countries along the way, each stay long enough to learn the rhythms of a neighbourhood, the bus I actually trusted at night, the café where the work got done.
By graduate school, the trips had a different shape. My calendar filled with fixed anchors, a founder summit in one country, a conference in another, a stretch of remote work I could do from anywhere, and I kept asking myself the same question: given everywhere I already needed to be, where should I actually base myself in between? Close to the right entrepreneurial scene. On a student budget. Somewhere I'd actually want to wake up in for three weeks straight.
Every tool I opened asked the wrong first question. Where are you flying from? Mine was the opposite, I knew where I had to land, I just needed help choosing the spaces in between. So I started sketching one that asked my question instead. Maunder is the planner I wish I'd had on every flight between Taipei and Paris, Singapore and home, built by someone who has actually lived the in-between, and made for the founders, operators, and curious builders trying to do the same.

The mid-week stops, the months between leases, the trips you take to be near people you love.
Real nightly costs, blended across stay types. No headline fares that triple at checkout.
No infinite filters. Fourteen preferences that actually move the needle, and a clear answer at the end.
Dedicated dials for solo & female-traveller safety and LGBTQIA+ acceptance sit alongside cost, climate, and community, so the answer reflects your trip, not the average traveller's.
Maunder is the planner you wish came before all the tabs. Book where you like, when you're ready.
"If you're reading this from a flat you're about to leave, with one anchor on the calendar, three months of empty ahead, and no idea where to point yourself next, this is for you."
